At Eilert Smith Hotel, we offer an exclusive and personal experience in the heart of Stavanger. With only 12 elegantly designed rooms, each stay is crafted to be truly special. As a proud member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) and home to the three-star Michelin restaurant RE-NAA, we set the highest standards for hospitality and guest service.
We are now looking for a Guest Relations Host to become a key part of our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that every guest enjoys a warm, seamless, and unforgettable stay—from their first inquiry to their final farewell.
Who You Are
You are a passionate hospitality professional who thrives in a luxury environment and understands the importance of personalized service. You have an eye for detail, a natural sense of discretion, and a warm, engaging manner. You enjoy working independently while being a strong part of a small, dedicated team.
Your Responsibilities
- Creating a warm arrival experience—from personalized check-ins to thoughtful touches in the rooms
- Providing exceptional service throughout the stay, anticipating guest needs and exceeding expectations
- Managing reservations and guest inquiries, both written and over the phone
- Working closely with the RE-NAA team to ensure seamless coordination for all guests dining at the restaurant
- Handling administrative tasks with precision, including using our property management system
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine passion for luxury hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Experience in a boutique hotel, fine dining, or luxury service environment is a plus.
- Fluent in English (Additional languages are a bonus).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask with elegance and efficiency.
- A natural ability to solve problems proactively and independently.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
